About the role#
The Management and Sales Internship is a paid, 10-12 week summer program based in Las Vegas. You will gain hands-on experience in retail store operations, sales, and business management. The program includes time shadowing a Sales Representative and working with store leadership. You will also collaborate with other interns on a project to address specific business issues.
What you'll do#
- Provide professional assistance to customers in-store and over the phone.
- Recommend products and maintain store displays.
- Learn store merchandise to answer inquiries and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Assist with point-of-sale transactions, paint mixing, and general store maintenance.
- Restock shelves, unload deliveries, and organize stockrooms.
- Participate in training sessions and follow store policies.
- Support the team in resolving customer concerns.
- Work with fellow interns on a team-based project.
What you'll need#
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior in a college or university.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently, and up to 70 lbs on occasion.
- Willingness to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
- At least one year of experience in retail, delivery, or customer service.
- Experience working in a team-oriented setting.
- Ability to communicate in more than one language, including Spanish.
- If currently employed by Sherwin-Williams, you must have a meets expectations rating on your most recent performance appraisal and have completed all required HR Cloud eLearning courses.
