About the role#
This is a paid, full-time Mechanical Intern position based in Nashville, Tennessee. The role is on-site and follows a rolling term. We are looking for a student pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering who shows potential for long-term growth within our firm.
What you'll do#
- Assist engineering staff with technical activities on assigned projects.
- Learn discipline-specific technical policies and procedures.
- Participate in technical studies, investigations, and designs under supervision.
- Help the project team produce project deliverables.
- Periodically manipulate and organize project plans.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Mechanical Engineering program.
- Ability to learn the basics of design and analysis within the discipline.
- Proficiency in using a computer for email and document production.
- Ability to navigate construction sites to inspect contractor work.
- Capability to lift and carry plans weighing up to 30 pounds.
