About the role#
The Community Relations intern supports our corporate citizenship and goodwill programs. You will help represent the company to external partners and internal stakeholders. This role involves active participation in the Hanover Insurance Group Foundation programs and employee engagement initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate efforts to represent the company both inside and outside the organization.
- Plan and support programs that promote corporate citizenship.
- Recruit, train, and schedule volunteers for various events and programs.
- Conduct project work including data analysis, research, and process efficiency assessments.
- Create and deliver a final presentation for leadership at the end of the program.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelors or advanced degree program, specifically in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, Public Health, or Sociology.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Ability to work full-time for the 10-week summer program.
- Ability to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship.
- Strong verbal and written communication, critical thinking, and time management skills.
