About the role#
We are hiring an Accounting Intern for the Summer 2027 term at our corporate headquarters in Houston. You will join our accounting team to support various business units with financial tasks and departmental projects.
What you'll do#
- Collect, record, summarize, and report on accounting transactions.
- Help research and respond to inquiries from internal and external customers.
- Provide information to support ongoing work and special projects.
- Handle general clerical duties as needed.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor degree in Accounting.
- You have completed at least 60 hours of college coursework with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- You understand basic accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
- You are proficient in the Microsoft Office Package, including Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word.
- You possess strong organizational and analytical skills.
- You can manage multiple tasks at the same time and communicate with tact and diplomacy.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Houston, Texas.
- The position follows a hybrid schedule with 4 days in the office.
- The internship runs from mid to end of May through the beginning of August 2027.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
