About the role#
This internship provides support to the Internal Audit and Internal Controls teams. You will work under immediate supervision to learn about the department and shadow current staff. This is a full-time, paid position for the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Perform assigned project work.
- Respond to employee inquiries.
- Organize team administrative activities, including ordering supplies or licenses.
- Revise or create content for SharePoint sites.
- Analyze data and build presentations for management meetings.
- Draft and distribute articles to employees and field representatives.
- Participate in the Internship Enrichment Program.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Current enrollment in an Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance program.
- Ability to apply basic knowledge of business principles and procedures.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
Location & details#
- The role is based in Houston, Texas.
- This is a hybrid position requiring four days in the office each week.
- The internship runs from mid-May through early August 2027.
