About the role#
As a Tax Intern, you will work with the Tax team at Tokio Marine HCC to gain professional experience. You will shadow team members, learn internal processes, and provide support on daily tasks. This is a paid, full-time position for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Respond to employee inquiries.
- Complete assigned project work.
- Organize team administrative activities.
- Approve or order supplies and licenses.
- Draft and distribute monthly articles for employees and field representatives.
- Update the department website and manage content on SharePoint sites.
- Analyze data and build presentations for management meetings.
- Participate in the Internship Enrichment Program.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Pursuit of a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to apply basic knowledge of business principles and procedures.
- No prior experience is required.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Houston, Texas.
- The work modality is hybrid, with four days per week in the office.
- The internship runs from mid-May through early August 2027.
- Sponsorship is not available for this position.
