About the role#
The University of Wyoming Foundation is looking for a student intern to join our Marketing and Communications team. You will help shape our online presence by building and refining web pages. This role involves hands-on work with design, front-end development, and user experience strategy to support our institutional goals.
What you'll do#
- Create and maintain web pages for the UW Foundation website using Webflow.
- Optimize existing pages to improve design, performance, and user experience.
- Collaborate with content creators to present material effectively online.
- Research website design best practices, accessibility standards, and user experience trends.
- Use AI tools to brainstorm design concepts and assist with code.
- Test and debug website features while documenting changes.
- Implement web content strategy under the guidance of the Manager of Content and Web Strategy.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at the University of Wyoming.
- Understanding of web design principles and user experience.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, on-site position located in Laramie, Wyoming.
- The role is full-time and follows a rolling term schedule.
