About the role#
The College of Arts and Sciences is hiring a Student Ambassador to assist with recruiting efforts and department operations. You will also serve on the Dean’s Undergraduate Advisory Committee. This is an on-site role based in Laramie, Wyoming.
What you'll do#
- Call prospective students to discuss the university.
- Write postcards to students who have started their application.
- Represent the College of Arts and Sciences at recruiting events like Discovery Days and New Student Days.
- Host information tables for prospective students and their families.
- Support various departments with daily tasks.
- Manage information accuracy and coordinate with the Recruiting Coordinator as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a major or minor in an Arts and Sciences degree program.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience using Microsoft Suite, including Word and Excel.
- Background in phone communication.
- Ability to work in environments with multiple reporting lines.

- This position is located on-campus in Laramie, Wyoming.
- The role is paid and follows a rolling term.
