    About the role#

    WSP is hiring an Environmental Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid internship based in our San Diego or Irvine offices. You will work alongside senior staff on real projects to build your technical and professional skills.

    What you'll do#

    • Support environmental engineering tasks and learn core engineering principles.
    • Assist with project research, field work, and technical report writing.
    • Collect and maintain project documentation, including field notes, meeting minutes, and project logs.
    • Complete training modules as assigned.
    • Handle additional responsibilities based on business needs.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in an accredited Undergraduate or Graduate Environmental Engineering program with an expected graduation date of August 2027 or later.
    • Must be at least 18 years old.
    • Basic proficiency with technical writing, office software, and spreadsheets.
    • Authorization to work in the United States at the start of the internship.

    Location & details#

    • This is an on-site role located in San Diego, CA or Irvine, CA.
    • The internship is a 12-week program starting May 17, 2027.
    • Compensation ranges from $23.90 to $32.22 per hour.
    • No relocation or housing assistance is provided.
