    About the role#

    This is a full-time, paid internship for the Summer 2027 term. You will work within our Power and Energy team to gain hands-on experience on real projects. You will work alongside senior staff members to develop your technical, social, and ethical skills in a professional environment.

    What you'll do#

    • Support various engineering tasks to build your professional aptitude.
    • Learn the basic principles of Civil and Mechanical Engineering.
    • Assist with project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations and analysis.
    • Help prepare final design plans, special provisions, and cost estimates.
    • Collect and maintain project documentation.
    • Complete training on assigned tasks and follow company policies regarding resources and conduct.

    What you'll need#

    • Active enrollment in an accredited Civil or Mechanical Engineering undergraduate program.
    • An anticipated graduation date of August 2027 or later.
    • Authorization to work in the United States at the start of the internship.
    • Must be 18 years of age or older.
    • Basic proficiency with technical writing, office software, spreadsheets, and related tools.
    • Ability to communicate ideas effectively to both engineering and non-engineering audiences.
    • Ability to take direction from leadership and mentors to execute projects.

    Location & details#

    • This role is located in Mount Laurel, New Jersey.
    • This is an on-site position.
    • The internship is scheduled for 10-12 weeks, starting May 17, 2027.
    • Compensation is $23.90 to $31.11 per hour.
    • No relocation or housing assistance is provided.
