About the role#
The Equipment and System Analytics team leads data analytics for the Energy Supply organization. As an intern, you will contribute to how the company generates power by optimizing maintenance strategies and operational approaches. You will work on projects ranging from field work and project management to software design, helping the organization improve reliability and manage risk across the generation portfolio.
What you'll do#
- Support instrumentation design and installation to monitor critical equipment, including updating drawings and diagrams.
- Work alongside plant technicians, mechanics, engineers, and external contractors to complete field projects.
- Develop and enhance software applications for Asset Performance Management using low-code tools.
- Use AI models to consolidate and interpret large data sets to drive operational efficiency.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a sophomore or higher as of Fall 2027 in an ABET-accredited college or university.
- Pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Data Science.
- Ability to work full-time during the summer and part-time during the school year.
- Ability to commute to the office in Henderson, Colorado.
- Experience with power generation is preferred.
