About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to support the Design and Analysis teams in Mobile, Alabama. You will work on various aspects of cabin engineering, including the design, analysis, and certification of commercial aircraft interiors. The team manages the full lifecycle of cabin components, from initial development to manufacturing and customer support.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to engineering improvement and innovation projects, including automation, digitalization, and API or web application development.
- Generate engineering reports, templates, and weekly status updates to track project progress.
- Organize engineering data and assist in routing documents for formal review.
- Develop presentation materials, including illustrations and data visualization.
- Support the department by generating worksheets and archiving technical documentation.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited, full-time 4-year engineering degree program in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Aerospace, Civil, Systems, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Minimum Sophomore standing or current enrollment in a Master's degree program.
- Experience leading engineering projects or previous internship experience with independent project management.
- Knowledge of Data Science, Data Analytics, or Web and API development.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or R.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and engineering drawings.
- Authorization to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.

- Term: Summer 2027 (May 2027 through August 2027).
- Modality: Full-time, on-site.
- Compensation: Paid internship.
