About the role#
The Music Program Assistant provides administrative support to the Music Program Director and faculty. This part-time role involves 6 hours of work per week and is based on the American University campus.
What you'll do#
- Handle administrative tasks for the Music Program Director and faculty.
- Respond to emails regarding general inquiries about the program.
- Lead tours of music facilities for prospective students.
- Participate in Preview Days to assist with recruitment.
- Monitor the condition of practice rooms and music studios, reporting any maintenance needs for equipment or pianos.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at American University.
- An active Federal Work Study (FWS) award.
Location & details#
- Location: Washington, District of Columbia (On-site).
- Schedule: Part-time, 6 hours per week.
- Pay: $18.40 per hour.
- Term: Rolling.
