About the role#
As the Campaign Development Director for Visionaries and Student Visionaries of the Year, you will lead staff teams and manage relationships to drive peer to peer fundraising. You will work within a designated market area to implement fundraising products and meet revenue targets. This role requires a balance of high-level strategy and hands-on operational work.
What you'll do#
- Partner with Education Services and Health Research departments to communicate the Blood Cancer United mission and programs.
- Create and implement an annual strategic plan to ensure the team meets revenue goals.
- Hire, train, and manage peer to peer fundraising staff.
- Recruit and support high-level volunteer committees and leaders.
- Organize local donor cultivation events and identify donors for national stewardship.
- Grow corporate and volunteer relationships.
- Retain and upgrade sponsorships for all products.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 7-8 years of relatable experience.
- A proven track record of success.
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
- A willingness to get into the details of the work when necessary.
Location & details#
- This position is based in Albany, New York.
- The work modality is hybrid.
- This is a full-time role.
- You will need to travel locally up to 30 percent of the time.
- The schedule requires occasional work during evenings or weekends.
