    About the role#

    This internship with Chevron Shipping Company offers experience in marine engineering and naval architecture. You will work on projects spanning the design, construction, and operation of tanker vessels and floating offshore production facilities. This role supports a fleet of trading tankers and LNG carriers, as well as various floating offshore assets.

    What you'll do#

    • Provide marine engineering and naval architecture services for LNG carriers, crude oil carriers, and product carriers.
    • Support floating assets such as FPSOs, FSOs, FLNGs, and FPUs.
    • Interact with major project team members on floating offshore projects including spars, TLPs, and semi-submersibles.
    • Work on projects that range from initial concept selection through to operation.

    What you'll need#

    • A B.S. or M.S. degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a closely related discipline like Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering.
    • Between 0 and 5 years of industry experience.
    • The ability to demonstrate The Chevron Way.

    • Location: Houston, Texas.
    • Modality: On-site.
    • Employment: Full-time.
    • Compensation: $27.30 to $40.00 per hour, depending on degree level and academic year.
    • Sponsorship: Chevron does not provide employment visa sponsorship for this role.
