About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship based in Ethan, South Dakota. You will work directly with our agronomy team to support local producers. The role begins as early as Spring 2027 and continues through Summer 2027. You will gain hands-on experience in field operations, sales, and inventory management.
What you'll do#
- Assist with crop scouting, soil sampling, and field problem solving.
- Design, monitor, and summarize farm trials to share with customers.
- Use integrated pest management techniques to set treatment thresholds.
- Write reports and present findings to supervisors and customers.
- Learn the features of our products to assist with sales and delivery.
- Perform warehouse and plant operations.
- Use the Agris software for invoicing and inventory tracking.
- Maintain equipment and facilities while following safety and environmental policies.
- Perform custom application if qualified.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an Ag Business, Crop Science, or related degree program.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Previous internship experience is helpful.
- Background knowledge or experience in agriculture is a plus.
