About the role#
As a Sustainable Development Intern, you will join our corporate team in Houston to support international operations. You will gain exposure to sustainability policies, governance, and strategy. This role involves collaborating across various functions, including public policy, supply chain, and finance, to help integrate sustainability into our business planning.
What you'll do#
- Support the development and implementation of sustainability standards and practices.
- Gather, analyze, and assess data related to sustainability topics.
- Conduct research and benchmarking on environmental and social performance.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to advance sustainability initiatives.
- Contribute to reports regarding our social and environmental performance.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in Environmental Engineering, Sociology, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date between Fall 2027 and Spring/Fall 2028.
- A minimum cumulative and major GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time internship located in Houston, Texas.
- Terms are available for Summer 2027 and Fall 2027.
- Internships typically last between 10 and 14 weeks.
