About the role#
This summer internship offers an opportunity to work with the Environmental Technologies segment of Corning. You will support technical manufacturing projects by analyzing data and building tools that help engineers make informed decisions. The role involves working with large data sets and communicating complex results to the team.
What you'll do#
- Manage and manipulate large data sets to support project goals.
- Create predictive tools that inform business and technical decisions.
- Develop methods for detecting process data anomalies.
- Build dashboards to assist engineers with their daily tasks.
- Devise graphical methods to explain your results and model predictions to others.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Data Science, Statistics, or Computer Science, with a graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- Experience with data analysis using software such as Python, R, or PowerBI.
- Availability for a 10-week period during Summer 2027.
- Interest in potential full-time employment with Corning following graduation.

- Compensation: This is a paid position with a biweekly range of $1,635.00 to $3,185.00.
