    About the role#

    The Digital & IT Intern will join the Manufacturing IT team at the Phoenix Solar Plant. You will work on projects that improve how we use data, digital tools, and reporting across our manufacturing processes. This role offers hands-on experience in a technical manufacturing environment, focusing on analytics, process documentation, and the evaluation of automation tools.

    What you'll do#

    • Collect, organize, validate, and summarize data from manufacturing and operational systems.
    • Support the development and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
    • Identify opportunities to simplify reporting and improve workflows through digital tools.
    • Support process documentation, knowledge capture, and standardization activities.
    • Partner with team members to gather requirements and support project execution.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
    • Ability to learn new technologies, processes, and business concepts quickly.
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

    Location & details#

    • This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site in Glendale, Arizona.
    • You must be available for 10 weeks during Summer 2027.
    • This position does not provide immigration sponsorship.
