    About the role#

    This IT internship focuses on cyber security operations within the global IT function. You will assist in data management, security compliance, and server migration planning. The position is a full-time, paid 10-week program.

    What you'll do#

    • Analyze, clean, and process data retrieved from Splunk queries.
    • Migrate data into interfaces that allow for the addition, removal, and modification of records.
    • Use Power BI, Qualys, and Active Directory to verify user access and validate compliance for quarterly security audits.
    • Create tools to track and plan legacy server migration processes.
    • Work directly with server owners to coordinate migration planning.

    What you'll need#

    • Completed at least one year of a BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Cybersecurity.
    • Graduation date of December 2026 or later.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
    • Familiarity with VBA, SQL, and PowerShell.
    • Ability to work on-site in Charlotte, NC for the full 10-week duration from May 27, 2026, to July 31, 2026.
    • Interest in potential full-time employment with Corning after graduation.
