    About the role#

    This Teaching Assistant position supports the ANI-3301-B Character Rigging course during the Fall 2026 semester. You will work directly with the instructor to assist students, manage classroom tasks, and provide guidance on course material. This is a paid, part-time role requiring 5 hours of work per week.

    What you'll do#

    • Assist the instructor during classroom sessions and lectures.
    • Support students during lab hours and scheduled office hours.
    • Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their work.
    • Meet with students online when necessary.
    • Track and report your hours worked accurately.
    • Help with administrative tasks like equipment setup and grading.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment as a matriculated student at DigiPen Institute of Technology.
    • Proficiency with the ANI-3301 course material and character rigging.
    • A positive, approachable attitude and a desire to help others learn.
    • Strong communication skills and a reliable, punctual work ethic.
    • Ability to maintain focus during evening class hours.
    • A cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher and successful completion of ANI-3301, CG-375, or CG-675 with a grade of B or better.

    • Location: Redmond, Washington.
    • Term: September 7 to December 19, 2026.
    • Work Modality: On-site.
    • Note: You must reside in Washington state to hold this position. You are not permitted to work during your own scheduled class times.
