About the role#
DigiPen Institute of Technology is hiring a Student TA for the CS-100 Computer Environment course for the Fall 2026 term. This is a paid, on-site position based in Redmond, Washington. You will support students in the lab, assist with grading, and help maintain the classroom environment. This role requires a minimum of three hours of work per week during lab hours.
What you'll do#
- Set up and tear down the classroom as needed.
- Grade student work and lab reports using provided guidelines.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve.
- Assist students in the lab and during office hours, either in person or online.
- Track and report your hours worked.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a matriculated student at DigiPen.
- Successful completion of the CS-100 course with a grade of B or better.
- Proven proficiency with course material, specifically electrical components and assembly language programming.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to provide professional critique.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform tasks like carrying or pushing equipment.
- Good academic standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.

- Term: August 31 to December 18, 2026.
- Modality: On-site.
- Eligibility: You must reside within the State of Washington. You cannot work during times when you have a scheduled class.
