    About the role#

    DigiPen Institute of Technology is hiring a Student Teaching Assistant for the MUS-350L course taught by Greg Dixon. This position runs from August 31, 2026, through April 23, 2027. The role requires 20 hours of work per week on-site in Redmond, Washington. You must be a currently matriculated student at DigiPen to apply.

    What you'll do#

    • Assist the instructor during class sessions.
    • Grade homework and assignments.
    • Support students with music and sound requirements for their GAM300 game projects.
    • Provide guidance on course assignments and creative work outside of scheduled labs.
    • Meet weekly with the instructor for feedback and to discuss duties.
    • Maintain accurate records of your worked hours.

    What you'll need#

    • Proficiency with the MUS-350L course material.
    • A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
    • Successful completion of MUS-350L with a grade of B or better.
    • Good academic standing at DigiPen.
    • A positive attitude and a willingness to help peers succeed.
    • Consistent and timely attendance.
    • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, as the role involves some equipment setup.

    • Location: Redmond, Washington, United States.
    • Modality: On-site.
    • Term: Fall 2026 and Winter 2027.
    • Compensation: $17.13 - $18.25 per hour, based on your number of terms worked at DigiPen.
    • Note: Student employees may not work during their own scheduled class times.
