    About the role#

    This position supports student cinematic projects in PRJ-3001 and PRJ-3051. You will provide research and technical solutions tailored to individual team goals in both 2D and 3D environments. This role requires a commitment of 8 hours per week from August 31, 2026, to April 23, 2027.

    What you'll do#

    • Support research and development for student projects.
    • Guide teams through structured critiques.
    • Recommend project timelines and help teams set deadlines.
    • Assist teams with interpersonal challenges and group dynamics.
    • Offer guidance on narrative decisions.
    • Support task organization and track your own work hours.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment as a matriculated student at DigiPen Institute of Technology.
    • A cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher and good academic standing.
    • Completion of PRJ-300, PRJ-350, PRJ-400, PRJ-3000, or PRJ-3050 with a grade of B or better.
    • Experience in 2D or 3D animation and production pipelines.
    • Knowledge of character rigging, Storyboard Pro, or task management software like Notion.
    • Familiarity with Photoshop, Maya, Blender, or visual effects.

    Location & details#

    • This position is located in Redmond, Washington. You must reside within the state of Washington to be eligible.
    • Work is on-site. You cannot work during times when you have scheduled classes.
    • Pay is $17.13 to $18.25 per hour, based on your number of terms worked at the institution.
