    About the role#

    This co-op position supports research and development efforts across the engineering and manufacturing life cycle. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to solve complex problems and ensure quality standards are met. This is a full-time, paid position based in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

    What you'll do#

    • Design, develop, and improve engineering solutions for technical challenges.
    • Implement and test systems, performing analysis and providing documentation support.
    • Create test reports that include plots, tables, evaluation criteria, and conclusions based on collected data.
    • Assist with preventative maintenance schedules for equipment and common fixtures.
    • Maintain calibration records and interpret measurement data for review.
    • Perform hands-on laboratory instrumentation and measurement activities.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in a full-time undergraduate or graduate degree program in Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical, Computer, or Environmental Engineering, Physics, or Data Science.
    • Strong computer skills, specifically in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
    • Ability to adapt to changing environments, risks, and vulnerabilities.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Ability to perform hands-on laboratory work.

    • Work Modality: On-site.
    • Employment Type: Full-time.
    • Compensation: $20.00 - $45.00 per hour.
