    About the role#

    Emerson is seeking a Test Engineering Co-op for the Winter 2027 term. This full-time position involves designing and implementing software test systems to verify and validate safety-critical measurement and analytical instrumentation used in industrial automation. You will work on-site at one of our Minnesota locations.

    What you'll do#

    • Design and implement automated tests and test infrastructure.
    • Participate in technical reviews of product requirements, test plans, and implementation strategies.
    • Collaborate with software, hardware, and manufacturing teams to solve engineering challenges.
    • Analyze change requests to evaluate their impact on testing procedures and product quality.
    • Support global manufacturing test systems by troubleshooting, maintaining, and deploying test stations.
    • Develop hardware interfaces and documentation like service manuals and troubleshooting guides.

    What you'll need#

    • Current pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Computer, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
    • Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) in-person.
    • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
    • Zero years of related experience is required.

    • Locations: Shakopee, Chanhassen, or Eden Prairie, Minnesota.
