About the role#
We are looking for a Business Process Architect Co-Op to join our team in Chaska, Minnesota. This is a full-time, 6-month assignment beginning in January 2027. You will work on analyzing, documenting, and improving business processes across our IT and business functions to drive efficiency and automation.
What you'll do#
- Lead stakeholder interviews and discovery sessions to understand current business operations.
- Create process maps, swimlane diagrams, and documentation for both current and future-state workflows.
- Identify process bottlenecks, risks, and opportunities for automation.
- Gather requirements for forms, dashboards, and system integrations.
- Partner with IT teams, business analysts, and process owners on improvement initiatives.
- Develop training materials, knowledge articles, and executive summaries.
- Test and validate workflow solutions to ensure they meet business needs.
- Support projects including employee onboarding, software provisioning, asset management, and security patching.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program related to Business Administration, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or Operations Management.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio or Miro.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies like Lean, Agile, or ITIL.
- Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, Smartsheet, or Copilot is preferred.
- Familiarity with your university requirements for participating in a co-op program.
