About the role#
This is a full-time co-op position based in Colorado Springs for the Winter 2027 term. You will work alongside experienced facility technicians who will mentor you as you build your technical skills. The role spans 6 months, starting in January and ending in June.
What you'll do#
- Troubleshoot building equipment including HVAC, boilers, and compressor systems.
- Work with and learn the site Building Management System (BMS).
- Fabricate custom parts for specific facility applications.
- Repair or install building infrastructure, such as walls, ceiling systems, and paint.
- Perform minor repairs on equipment like forklifts, garage doors, lighting, plumbing, flooring, and electronic systems.
- Assist with general grounds work.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a trade school or college program, specifically in mechanical engineering or a related trade field.
- Familiarity with your school's requirements for co-op participation.
- Motivation to learn from others and work in various environments, including outdoors.
- Ability to lift over 50 pounds and use ladders.
- A boiler license or HVAC certificate is a plus.

- Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado.
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Modality: On-site.
