    About the role#

    As a Transmission Engineering Intern, you will work within our Power sector to support the generation, transmission, and delivery of electricity. You will work alongside experienced engineers to contribute to energy infrastructure projects. This role provides an opportunity to gain practical experience while connecting with company leaders and recent graduates through our professional programs.

    What you'll do#

    • Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures to project tasks.
    • Perform assignments under the direct supervision of an experienced engineer.
    • Gain real-world experience on various engineering projects.
    • Connect with company leaders and peers through mentoring and young professionals programs.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
    • Basic Microsoft Office skills.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to your field of study.
    • Strong communication and problem-solving skills with an attention to detail.
    • A commitment to participating in our employee-owned culture.
    • We prefer candidates who have completed at least 2 years of a Mechanical or Civil Engineering degree with a 3.0+ GPA.

    Location & details#

    • This is a full-time, paid internship based in Billings, Montana.
    • The role is on-site, and local candidates are preferred.
    • We do not offer sponsorship for this position.
