About the role#
HNTB is hiring summer interns for our Construction Management, Roadway, Transportation, Rail, and Aviation groups in Bellevue. This is a full-time, on-site internship for the summer of 2027. You will assist our engineering teams with project tasks and gain practical experience in an office setting.
What you'll do#
- Assist engineering teams with daily tasks and project duties.
- Help with the research, development, and design of infrastructure projects.
- Prepare engineering drawings and documents as assigned.
- Learn introductory shop drawing and submittal procedures.
- Perform basic engineering calculations and organize project information.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary engineering program, preferably pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Completion of at least two years of an engineering program.
- Basic understanding of engineering, geometric, and algebraic principles.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to accept and apply direction from supervisors and peers.

- Compensation: The pay range for this role is $25.28 to $37.92 per hour.
