About the role#
The Inter-American Development Bank is hiring a graduate student for an internship focused on ESG capacity building and knowledge management. This is a paid, full-time position based at the bank headquarters in Washington D.C. for the Winter 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Support the creation of a strategic framework for knowledge products by identifying priority topics with specialists.
- Review and update training materials related to the Environmental and Social Policy Framework.
- Develop standardized templates and tools to assist in planning Regional Policy Dialogues.
- Update and standardize capacity building presentations using bank branding guidelines.
- Coordinate virtual learning events, workshops, and webinars, including logistical planning and post-event management.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in a graduate program in Environment, Social Development, Communications, Public Administration, International Relations, or Development, with a graduation date after March 2027.
- Citizenship in an IDB member country.
- Fluency in English and a working knowledge of Spanish, French, or Portuguese.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data organization and analysis.
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) from January 16, 2027, to March 15, 2027.
- Must be a first-time participant in an IDB Group internship program and have no family members currently employed by the bank.
