About the role#
This position supports the quality team at our Mount Royal facility. You will ensure the integrity of laboratory analysis for products manufactured on-site. This is a paid, full-time internship role with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Perform physical and chemical analysis on products, including testing for pH, acidity, texture, salt, color, and brix.
- Check products and rejects for foreign matter.
- Enter and compile all test results into SAP.
- Assist the production team with special analysis requests.
- Investigate, resolve, and document quality issues along with corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain physical readiness for tasks requiring standing or walking for extended periods.
What you'll need#
- A DEC in food quality technology, dietetics, food processing, microbiology, biochemistry, or a related Bachelor of Science degree.
- Familiarity with standard laboratory methods and software.
- Proficiency with MS-Office tools.
- Ability to plan and organize your own work independently.
- Strong teamwork skills and attention to detail.
- Fluency in French is required, and English is an asset.
