About the role#
As an intern in the Transaction Opinions practice, you will join the Global Financial Advisory team. You will work on independent fairness, solvency, and debt opinions for boards of directors, special committees, and private equity partners. This role involves supporting valuation assessments for M&A transactions, capital raises, and corporate spin-offs.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate directly with senior management, clients, and board members throughout transaction execution.
- Build financial models and perform analytics for deal teams.
- Present your analysis and financial models to senior professionals during technical reviews.
- Conduct research and due diligence on companies, industries, and competitors.
- Assist in the development of proposals and advice for clients.
- Maintain high quality standards for all client deliverables.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor or Master degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and August 2028.
- Major GPA of 3.2 or higher.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize assignments in a team setting.
- Strong quantitative, writing, and communication skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
