About the role#
This internship provides experience in the interior design, space planning, construction management, and maintenance of company facilities. You will work on smaller, task-related projects under general guidance. The role involves managing facility budgets and long-range planning to support business goals.
What you'll do#
- Plan and implement space allocation, equipment layouts, and furniture arrangements.
- Coordinate the work of contractors and interface with government agencies.
- Inspect facilities to evaluate HVAC systems, lighting, and overall condition.
- Maintain and use the facility work order system for repairs and maintenance.
- Ensure all facilities meet building codes and safety regulations.
- Share responsibility for facility security and health safety standards.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Construction Engineering, Construction Science, Architectural Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Construction Management.
- Ability to communicate information clearly within your team.
- Aptitude for solving problems by suggesting process improvements.
- Familiarity with Solidworks is preferred.

- Schedule: This is a full-time, on-site, paid position using a 9/80 schedule where you work 80 hours over 9 days with every other Friday off.
