About the role#
This Data & Analytics Co-op position is an 8-month placement for the Winter 2027 term. You will work within the Data Office to support initiatives in Customer Experience, Data Analytics, and Continuous Improvement. This is a full-time, paid role designed to provide hands-on experience through training and mentorship.
What you'll do#
- Use analytical skills to identify business drivers and clarify project requirements.
- Apply data mining, visualization, process assessment, and root cause analysis to solve problems.
- Document solution requirements and present findings clearly to stakeholders.
- Prepare business partners for process changes to ensure smooth transitions.
- Handle daily tasks such as valuation oversight, trade processing, financial reporting, and dashboard creation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Computer Science degree or a related discipline at an accredited university.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to support data-driven decision making.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Power Suite or comparable automation and data visualization tools.
- Familiarity with the financial services industry, specifically wealth and asset management.
- Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships across different levels of the organization.
