About the role#
As a Food & Beverage Supervisor Intern, you will support the management team in daily operations at our Bluffton location. This role focuses on maintaining service standards, managing inventory, and ensuring our guests have a positive experience. You will work in a professional environment that emphasizes team collaboration and guest satisfaction.
What you'll do#
- Train new staff members and provide ongoing development for the existing team.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies to maintain stock while reducing waste.
- Help management with scheduling, labor controls, and administrative tasks.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a timely manner.
- Interact directly with guests to ensure their needs are met.
- Monitor department setup and ensure all side work is completed.
- Assist in the implementation of service standards and ensure food and beverages are served professionally.
What you'll need#
- At least one year of experience in food and beverage operations.
- Prior experience with Micros or similar point-of-sale systems.
- Intermediate computer skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- A collaborative approach to working in a team environment.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
