About the role#
Northrop Grumman is hiring engineering students for the Product Support Intern Program in Melbourne, Florida. This summer internship offers experience in engineering specializations within a professional environment. You will work alongside developers, customers, and users to support various systems.
What you'll do#
- Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, test, and maintain equipment and components.
- Follow engineering drawings and instructions, both written and verbal.
- Operate equipment and conduct tests according to prescribed formats.
- Perform alignment checks and make necessary adjustments or replacements.
- Prepare required compounds and solutions.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a full-time undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited college or university.
- Graduation date after August 2027.
- Major in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering, or a related STEM field.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher is preferred.
- Previous internship or co-op experience, along with demonstrated leadership, teamwork, and communication skills, is preferred.
