About the role#
This is a part-time role for college students located in St. Cloud, Wisconsin. You will work 16 to 24 hours per week, primarily on the second shift from 2pm to 10pm on Mondays and Wednesdays, with additional Saturday shifts as needed. Applicants must have previous production experience at Sargento.
What you'll do#
- Work as part of a team to produce quality products.
- Read production orders to verify information.
- Assist with the setup and placement of equipment.
- Sanitize equipment and production areas using cleaning chemicals.
- Communicate effectively with your team.
- Ensure all food safety and quality standards are met.
- Perform data entry for inventory systems and labeling software.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college, university, or technical college.
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Willingness to complete forklift certification upon hire.
- Ability to learn and carry out lock out tag out procedures.
- Comfort working in a refrigerated facility with loud machinery and potentially wet or humid conditions.
