    About the role#

    This Co-op position offers hands-on experience in consulting engineering. You will work full-time from mid-May through late November or early December 2027. The role begins with a multi-week orientation and training period, followed by on-the-job training alongside full-time staff. You will interact with contractors, design professionals, and construction managers while gaining exposure to geotechnical engineering, environmental remediation, and materials evaluation.

    What you'll do#

    • Support field construction quality control activities.
    • Assess and evaluate project materials, including soils, concrete, and asphalt.
    • Assist engineering staff with field evaluations and quality control testing.
    • Help ensure adherence to project specifications.

    What you'll need#

    • Current pursuit of a Civil Engineering degree.
    • Basic computer literacy for field work, communication, and report generation.
    • A good driving record and a valid driver's license.
    • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and on uneven terrain.
    • Physical ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 60 pounds.
    • Capability to sit, stand, stoop, or kneel for extended periods.
    • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
    • Effective written and oral communication skills.
    • A focus on safety and adherence to industry standards.
