About the role#
This internship offers a mix of field coaching and office experience. You will spend half your time leading soccer sessions for children ages 18 months to 8 years old. The other half involves supporting business operations, marketing initiatives, and community events. This is a paid, full-time position for the Fall 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Lead fun and engaging soccer sessions at preschools, elementary schools, and parks.
- Support marketing efforts and business operations in the office.
- Assist with community events.
- Gain hands-on experience in the day-to-day management of a youth sports franchise.
What you'll need#
- A desire to impact children's lives through sports and fitness.
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- A valid driver's license and access to an insured personal vehicle.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Prior experience working with children is preferred, though soccer experience is not required.
- Current enrollment in a Marketing or Business Administration program.
Location & details#
- Location: Columbia, MD with travel required to coaching sites.
- Term: August 17 to December 4, 2026.
- Modality: Hybrid (50% on-field coaching, 50% office and events).
- Schedule: 30+ hours per week, including weekends.
