About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Data Engineer Internship for Summer 2027. You will join our Technology, Data, AI, and Operations organization to help build the systems that turn raw information into reliable data assets. This role is a hybrid position based in Chicago, Illinois. We do not provide sponsorship for this role.
What you'll do#
- Build and support data pipelines that ingest, transform, and prepare data for business and analytical use.
- Work with structured and unstructured data to enable analytics, reporting, and AI-driven solutions.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and performance through profiling, validation, and monitoring activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data solutions that address business needs.
- Use AI tools to enhance productivity and support the development of data solutions.
What you'll need#
- You are an undergraduate or graduate student expecting to graduate in May 2028.
- You have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- You are pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Management Information Systems, Data Analytics, Applied Mathematics, or another STEM-related field.
- You possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- You have experience with programming and querying languages such as Python and SQL.
