About the role#
The University of New Mexico Student Health and Counseling (SHAC) department is hiring a Student Health Promotions Aide. This is a paid, on-site student employment position based in Albuquerque. We are looking for motivated students interested in health promotion and public health education to join our team.
What you'll do#
You will support the Health Promotion department by creating and running public health education campaigns. These campaigns cover topics such as physical, sexual, reproductive, and mental health. You will also answer student questions about SHAC services and help staff with various outreach events.
What you'll need#
We invite applications from students majoring in Public Health, Health Administration, Nursing, Psychology, Communications, or Biology. You should have a genuine interest in public health education and be comfortable assisting with student outreach and events.
Location & details#
This role is located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It is an on-site, full-time position with a rolling application term.
