About the role#
As a Strategy Intern, you will join a centralized team that partners with trading businesses across the firm. You will work with leadership to identify and quantify new business opportunities while developing plans to expand our reach in global markets. This role involves analyzing data, assessing competitive trends, and providing recommendations on cost models and operational requirements.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with DRW leadership to define strategic priorities.
- Build relationships across trading groups to find new or incremental opportunities.
- Partner with trading desks and project managers to implement new initiatives.
- Deliver data-based business planning recommendations to senior leaders.
- Investigate new opportunities using market data, volume trends, and competitive insights.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related science discipline.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Ability to work on cross-functional teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools to automate tasks or improve productivity.
- Ability to use data to analyze and quantify business opportunities.
- Understanding of derivative markets.
- Strong writing and presentation skills.
