About the role#
GeoEngineers is looking for students to join our team for a Summer 2027 internship in Boise. This role offers the chance to work alongside professional engineers and scientists, gaining hands-on experience in the field and the office. This is a paid, full-time position.
What you'll do#
- Monitor field explorations and construction projects under the guidance of our staff.
- Document field conditions and complete required reports.
- Assist with routine laboratory testing and analyses.
- Help engineers with office and project-related deliverables.
- Maintain field readiness and keep up to date on required company training.
- Organize and maintain lab and field equipment as needed.
- Conduct work safely and support the safe work practices of your team.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Civil, Geotechnical, or Environmental Engineering.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation.
- Ability to perform physical activities like walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines.
- Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is preferred.
