About the role#
GeoEngineers is looking for engineering students to join us for a Summer 2027 internship. This role offers hands-on experience and mentorship from professional engineers. You will split your time between field work and office tasks while learning the day-to-day responsibilities of a geotechnical engineer.
What you'll do#
- Monitor field explorations and construction projects under the guidance of our staff.
- Document field conditions and complete required reports.
- Assist with routine laboratory testing and analyses.
- Support engineers with project deliverables and office tasks.
- Organize and maintain lab and field equipment.
- Maintain field readiness and complete all company training requirements.
- Follow safe work practices and support the safety of your team members.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Master degree program in Civil, Geotechnical, Environmental, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team and complete tasks on time.
- Valid driver license and reliable personal transportation.
- Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical activities including walking, bending, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
