    About the role#

    As a Power Intern, you will join our team to support the generation, transmission, and delivery of electricity. You will work alongside engineers and scientists on projects ranging from data centers to transmission system modernization. This position offers hands-on experience in the energy sector and is a full-time, paid opportunity for the summer of 2027.

    What you'll do#

    • Support engineers and project teams on energy and resource-related projects.
    • Assist with planning, design, analysis, and technical documentation.
    • Participate in field visits, site assessments, and project meetings.
    • Use engineering software and technology tools to support project delivery.
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve infrastructure challenges.
    • Contribute ideas to improve efficiency, sustainability, and project outcomes.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
    • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
    • Attention to detail and basic Microsoft Office skills.
    • Commitment to being an active participant in an employee-owned culture.
    • Preference for candidates who have completed at least 2 years of their degree with a 3.0+ GPA.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to your field of study.
    • Interest in energy, infrastructure, natural resources, sustainability, or environmental stewardship.
