About the role#
As a Water/Wastewater Intern, you will work within our Water Business Group to support projects involving water treatment, distribution, and wastewater conveyance. You will gain hands-on experience by applying engineering techniques under the supervision of project managers and professional engineers. This role involves contributing to infrastructure projects for federal, state, and local municipalities.
What you'll do#
- Assist with design calculations and draft technical reports.
- Prepare project drawings and specifications.
- Conduct project site visits.
- Assist with the administration of shop drawing reviews.
- Respond to Request for Information documents.
- Engage with company leaders and recent graduates through mentoring and professional programs.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program, specifically Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- At least 2 years of coursework completed toward your degree with a 3.0 or higher GPA.
- Demonstrated knowledge of software packages relevant to your field of study.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills with an attention to detail.
