About the role#
This position is for current or former HNTB interns only. As a Returning New Grad Engineer I, you will contribute to the delivery of infrastructure projects by applying engineering techniques and design criteria. You will work in partnership with project teams to develop conceptual and detailed designs while supporting the execution of various project tasks.
What you'll do#
- Complete assigned work within the provided schedule and hours.
- Support the preparation and modification of project reports, plans, and design calculations.
- Assist engineering teams with the organization and administrative support of design files.
- Perform research, data collection, and field investigations.
- Assist in the preparation of project quantity and cost estimates.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Environmental, or Architecture).
- An understanding of engineering principles relevant to your specific discipline.
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with MicroStation or AutoCAD.

- Terms: Winter 2027 and Summer 2027.
