    About the role#

    The Inter-American Development Bank is hiring a graduate student for a paid, full-time internship in Washington D.C. This program offers an opportunity to learn about development work and corporate management through on-the-job experience. The internship runs from January 16th to March 15th, 2027.

    What you'll do#

    • Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements.
    • Reconcile cash, interfund, and administrative accounts.
    • Conduct research under US GAAP.
    • Prepare schedules and audit support documentation.
    • Collaborate with your internship supervisor on various assigned tasks.

    What you'll need#

    • You must be an active graduate student in Accounting or Business Administration.
    • You should have knowledge of financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP.
    • You must be fluent in English and have working knowledge of Spanish, French, or Portuguese.
    • You need to be proficient in the Microsoft Suite.
    • You must have the ability to write and present concise analytical papers.
    • You must be a national of an IDB member country.

    • This role is based in Washington D.C., United States.
    • This is a full-time, on-site position requiring 40 hours per week.
    • The internship duration is fixed from January 16th to March 15th, 2027.
