About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience within our Upstream fields, including Reservoir, Production, Facilities, Drilling, and Completions. You will join established engineering and operations teams to apply your academic knowledge to real-world energy projects. The program lasts 10 to 12 weeks during the summer of 2027. You will receive dedicated guidance from a technical mentor and a supervisor throughout your assignment.
What you'll do#
- Complete one or more technical projects during the summer.
- Participate in diversified training through on-the-job assignments.
- Develop and improve engineering techniques, such as forecasting models.
- Collaborate with team members on operations and engineering tasks.
What you'll need#
- Pursuit of a Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Environmental, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering, or Business Administration.
- Current standing as a Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or Graduate student.
- A minimum cumulative and major GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis without company sponsorship.
- Previous internship or co-op experience in the energy field is preferred.

- This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship.
- Available locations include Kenedy, Texas; Houston, Texas; Midland, Texas; Dickinson, North Dakota; and Anchorage, Alaska.
